The Merc Deli
Ask our friendly, knowledgeable staff anything about our ingredients, our coffees’ origins and even your cooking questions. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service.

When you shop The Merc’s Deli, you can trust:

- We make our foods daily, in-house, from scratch
- We prepare our lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas with local milk and
- fair trade organic beans
- We slice deli meats and cheeses exactly how you like them,
- from thick portions of cheddar to the thinnest slice of prosciutto
- We spend more than $74,000 per year on locally grown and produced
- ingredients to use in our dishes
- We give preference to fair-trade, free-range, local, organic and
- non-GMO ingredients


Coffees, Teas, Smoothies, Juices, and Kombucha
Our expert baristas serve espresso drinks and brewed coffee made with locally roasted organic and fair-trade coffee beans. We steam local milk and organic half-and-half for all our drinks, and all our syrups are free of high fructose corn syrup. (Pick up one of our coffee punch cards — your tenth drink is on us.)

Our tea enthusiasts can enjoy a hot cup of organic, fair-trade loose-leaf tea, or locally made raw Kombucha mixer. Need an afternoon pick-me-up? We serve smoothies, made-to-order with 100% real fruit juices and whole fruit.

Come Dine With Us
We’re here to serve you. All day long, you can enjoy a meal in our beautiful cafe. Start your day with a great cup of coffee and a hot breakfast (be sure to check out our Sunday brunch). For lunch or dinner, make a fresh salad with crisp greens and all the fixings, including Merc-made salad dressings. Or, fix up a plate from our hot bar, made daily with local veggies, free-range meats, and our chefs’ good cooking. If that's not enough to choose from, try one of our hot Merc-made soups, Tuscan Flatbreads, or sandwiches made-to-order.

Fast Food Can Be Fantastic
If you’re on the go, you need some good fuel. Stop in for a snack or quick meal from our Grab-and-Go case. If you’ve got a family to feed, take home some of our fried or roasted chickens for supper.

Stop by and we will make you a sandwich made to order using our finest meats and cheeses that we also sell for you to take and make at home. Our choose one of our classic Merc Specialty Sandwiches.

All New Vegetarian Moroccan

7-9pm

Enjoy exotic flavors for a spring evening. We’ll start with a salad plate of Carrot Salad with Mint; Roasted Eggplant Salad with Harissa; and Sliced Oranges with Black Olives. Then we’ll bring out loaves of freshly baked Moroccan Anise Bread to dip into Bessara (Berber-style Bean Puree). We’ll cap off the evening with an extravagant dessert of Lemon Couscous Cake served with Medjool Date Ice Cream. All the benefits of travel to an exotic land with none of the hassles.

Spring at the Farmers' Market

7-9pm

Join Chef Paige for a celebration of the growers who feed us with an early market menu. You’ll be inspired by fabulous Roasted Beet Salad with Yogurt & Mint (even if you think you don’t like beets); Market Ragout of Spring Vegetables; Orrechiette with Asparagus, Peas & Pancetta; Swiss Chart Tart with Goat Cheese, Currants & Pine Nuts (this alone is worth taking the class), and a sublime finish of Rhubarb Streusel Coffeecake. Hooray for the Farmers’ Market!
