Instructors: Sarah Salzman and Savannah Thatcher

It's time to get bubbly! Children and their adult helpers will join Sarah and Savannah from Wild Alive Ferments to explore the fun and messy art of fermentation. They'll start by reading a short story, then you'll roll up your sleeves and get to work. First, make Kimchi Pancakes to try; then start a batch of Kimchi to take home and watch the fermentation process. You will learn all about kimchi and why ferments are good for you. Participants may be using tools with a cutting edge. Fee covers one adult and one child (ages 4-7).
