Instructor: Rachel Ciordas

The kitchen is the perfect place to explore science in a fun and easy way. Kids will create scientific (and edible) food experiments. We’ll start by learning the properties of emulsion to create a delicious Vinaigrette to eat on an awesome Homemade Salad. After that, osmosis will help us create Fruit & Nut Couscous! Our time in the kitchen science lab will wrap up with super cool Color Changing Cookies and Homemade "Soda" made out of real orange juice that will teach us all about pH levels. Science is fun! Participants may be using tools with a cutting edge. This class is for children ages 7-12 only, no parent supervision necessary.
