Join Rachel for a culinary adventure, complete with authentic wine pairings, to one of her very favorite places - a breathtaking part of the world not often explored. The evening begins with traditional Transylvanian appetizers including Bulz (crisped cheese-filled orbs of polenta); and Zacusca, an irresistible vegetable spread. Soup is an absolute must in the region, so get ready for delectable Ciorba. Next is Varza la Cluj - crazy & simple unstuffed cabbage rolls that exemplify the delicious food of Transylvania. For dessert, Papanasi – ricotta dumplings served with fruit and sour cream.
