Hospitality Team - Foster a culture of hospitality at our co-op by providing fellow employees inspiration and tools to succeed. Meets: TBD monthly / Lead: Chris T. / Status: openings
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Team - comprised of staff from all levels of the organization that will ensure the co-op is actively engaging in equity, diversity, and inclusion work. Team members will participate by getting the tools, updates, and insights they learn at trainings/meetings out to co-op staff. Team members are representatives of the EDI program and will help shift the culture at the co-op to more a more equitable, diverse and inclusive workplace. Livable Wage "Trailblazers" Task Force - Comprised of staff at all levels and paths advising on adjustments to the Livable Wage initiative in order to ensure that sales grow quicker than the inflation of personal expenses, individual wages are raised through merit adjustment and only highly effective employees are scheduled in shifts. Meets: Alternating Wednesdays at 3 p.m. / Lead: Zac / Status: one opening (specialist or cooperator)
Change Committee - This program values organizations that share our commitment to the health, well being, sustainability and education of our community. By creating a partnership with our customers we work together to bring financial support to these organizations. Meets: once per year in October for four hours / Lead: Nancy / Status: no openings
MercAid - Established in 2002, the mission of MercAid is to provide a modest amount of immediate financial support to current Merc employees (in good standing, having fulfilled their initial passport period) at a time of personal crisis involving financial hardship. Meets: as needed / Lead: Nancy / Status: no openings
