Community Rooms & Kitchens

The Merc Co+op has a Classroom & Kitchen space in both locations! These are multi-purpose spaces where our community can eat, gather and learn. We collaborate with local organizations, educators, producers and chefs to host a variety of programs and events from cooking classes to neighborhood association meetings. In addition to shopping and dining here, you can expect to find:

• drop-in, family-friendly activities

• active cooking demos

• vendor samplings

Reserving the Classroom & Kitchen Spaces

Kansas City Community Room

Organizations and community groups are welcome to reserve our classroom for meetings, classes, or workshops. The community rooms are not intended for individual or private use, such as birthdays, baby showers or church services.

KANSAS CITY COMMERCIAL KITCHEN

Our commercial kitchen is used for co-op classes, local producer demonstrations and community partner events. It is also available for local producers or community groups to reserve.
