April also begins our celebration of 50 years! Since 1974, your co-op has been focused on good local food. Over the last 50 years, The Merc Co+op has grown to a staff of 100 employees and operates in two locations — one in Lawrence, and one in Kansas City, Kansas. The vision of increasing access to healthy, local and affordable food across our regional community continues to guide us today.
