Registration & Information
Please note: Due to the popularity of co-op classes, we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Everyone must pre-register.
Fill out a class registration card, located at the kiosk near the classroom door. Please use one card per class. Identify the PLU number of the class and enter it into the appropriate box on the registration card. (Look for the white three digit number “PLU 000” in the red box on each class listing.) Take the completed card to a cashier to pay. Registrations may be purchased with the rest of your groceries! Your registration and payment will appear on your receipt.

For your convenience, we are happy to accept registrations by mail. Please call 785-843-8544 Ext 207 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., to make sure there is still space available.
Include the name of the class you are registering for, a phone number and a check for payment made out to "The Merc Co+op."

Select the class(es) in which you want to enroll. Fill out the required fields for each participant attending the class and your payment information. You may register for multiple classes at one time. You will receive an email notification confirming your registration.
Classes are typically limited to 32 participants.
Prepayment is required. We cannot hold class space for those who do not include payment with their class registration.
Class registration closes 24 hours prior to class.
We will contact you if there is a question about your registration, otherwise you can assume you are in the class.
We do not make reminder calls, however please help yourself to a reminder card, available at the class kiosk.
If you must miss a class please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. We will issue you a credit that may be used for any of our classes in the future.
If you don't show for a class and haven't called us 48 hours prior to the class, we will not be able to issue a class credit.
Classes will be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met 48 hours prior to class. Participants will be notified and class credit or full refund will be issued.
Children mature enough to attend adult classes are welcome. All attendees are required to have a purchased seat. Please no infants or children in arms or on laps.
Class gift certificates may be purchased for any amount and are available at the Customer Service Desk or from the Marketing Department.

The Class Registrant (the “Registrant”) warrants that he/she/they is at least 18 years of age or that he/she/they is the parent or legal guardian for the child(ren) listed on the registration form, who intends to participate (the “Participation”) in a cooking class or event at/with The Merc Co+op (the “Co-op”).
In consideration for this Participation, the Registrant agrees to execute this Release of Liability (the “Release”). The Registrant agrees and acknowledges that the Participation may involve certain inherent risks, including the risk of personal injury and agrees to assume all such risks as well as any other risks involved in such participation. The Registrant hereby releases and discharges The Merc Co+op and all of its employees, agents, representative, partners and members, as well as any or all other persons or entities that may have any liability whatsoever to the Registrant in relation to the Participation or the Co-op (collectively the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all damages, actions, claims and liabilities, whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, suspected or unsuspected, relating to or arising from any activity, occurrence or event involving, related to or arising out of the Participation or the Co-op. The Registrant further agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend The Merc Co+op and each of the other Released Parties from and against any loss, damage, liability and expense, including costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees, incurred by the Co-op or any of the other Released Parties as a result of the Participation at or in connection with the Co-op.
In registering for and attending this class or event, the Registrant is agreeing to the waiver above and understands that this agreement is a binding legal contract.
